The Company has assembled a world-class team that comprises expertise in both bioinorganic chemistry and drug discovery and development.  Co-founder Dr. Thomas V. O'Halloran, Morrison Professor of Chemistry and Cell Biology at Northwestern University, is a recognized leader in the biochemistry of metalloproteins.  Co-founder Dr. H. Holden Thorp, Chancellor, the University of North Carolina, is a prolific bioinorganic chemist with considerable entrepreneurial experience and an extensive patent portfolio. These individuals are complemented by a scientific advisory board with broad expertise in bioinorganic chemistry and pharmaceutical discovery and development and a seasoned management team with more than 110 years of combined pharmaceutical experience.
